Everything You Need To Know – Paradox Veil

Pokémon China have unveiled the secrets of ‘Area Zero’ and have now introduced “Ancient” and “Future” Pokémon into the TCG.

Now one must wonder, If Paradox Pokémon are from the past and the future… does that mean the present is just on lunch break?

Oh, come on! That’s pretty good. Right?!

7 November 2025 is going to be a busy day, as this set along with the Travel Gift Box, Travel Journey Gift Box, Travel Tin Collection Gift Box and the Travel Sleeve Collection Gift Box will all be released!

Incoming paradox joke #2: It’s going to be a bumper day, just keep in mind there is some risk that your future self has already bought one of these boxes and scooped everything out – don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Paradox Veil Booster Pack Designs

Based on Pokémon’s release history in China, this release will be available in two variants: a jumbo version and a slim version.

What is the difference between them?

• Number of cards
• Hit difference!

The Jumbo Pack contains 20 cards in a pack – seen on the pack’s top left corner in red.

The Slim Pack contains 5 cards in a pack – seen on the pack’s top left corner in black.

Important to note: There are no guaranteed SR’s in EITHER of the boxes.

Collector’s Tip: Jumbo Boxes have the chance of a “God Box”. That means each pack will contain a SR rarity and above in Every. Single. Pack! 

MORE Exclusive Cards

Another two cards have been added to the Simplified Chinese exclusives list ✅. The Iron Hands ex and the Pal Pad.

The one is all big mechanical palms giving big electric slaps for big energy, the other one is really just a cool book.

As you well know by now, Simplified Chinese are playing catch up to the rest of the languages. Thanks to this, they end up combining various sets together. Paradox Rift, Paldean Fates, Obsidian Flames and Scarlet & Violet will all be found in this set.

Travel Collection Tin Gift Box

Another ‘Blind Box’ with up to 37 different designs. What is a Blind Box for our newcomers? It means only once you open the very cute, designed box, you’ll know which tin you’ve got. These tins are split between different rarities; “common”, “hidden” and the “super hidden.”

Each Tin Contains:

• 1 x S&V Jumbo Pack (Either Reward Round, Dark Crystal Blaze or Paradox Veil)

The Travel Promo Pack

Phew! Here we are… Thanks for sticking around there. In a genius marketing ploy – we’ve saved the best for last (personal opinion of course). This promo pack will be obtainable in all the above-mentioned gift boxes, so they are obviously very x 3 important.

Each pack will contain 2 x cards per pack.

The first card will contain a reprint of a card from any of the Scarlet & Violet sets that have already been released. There is a chance of this card also appearing as an ex card, a “shiny” or a full art “shiny”.
