Everything You Need To Know – Gem Pack Vol 2
As you might imagine (big hint in the name), Gem Pack has released another volume: Simplified Chinese Pokémon Gem Pack Vol 2! This time celebrating Eevee and its Eeveelutions!
Note: Eevee has the most possible total evolutions of any Pokémon. As of Generation 9, Eevee has a whopping eight evolutions, each corresponding to a different type: Vaporeon (Water), Jolteon (Electric), Flareon (Fire), Espeon (Psychic), Umbreon (Dark), Leafeon (Grass), Glaceon (Ice), and Sylveon (Fairy). This is important for later – trust us! 😉
This all makes Eevee the most evolvable Pokémon – and a big reason why there’s a special place in our hearts for this pointy-eared, fluffy-maned cutie pie.
The Simplified Chinese Gem Pack Vol. 2 will release in Mainland China on: 16 May 2025.

Rarity
Following Gem Pack Vol. 1, the unique rarity system continues in the Simplified Chinese Gem Pack Vol. 2 – only found in the Gem Pack series.
Namely:
- Common ●
- Uncommon ◆
- Rare ★
- Double Rare ★★
- Triple Rare ★★★
Of the 4 cards in each pack, 3 will be either ● or ◆ rarity, and the final card will be either ★, ★★, or ★★★ rarity. Meaning: you’re guaranteed something special in each pack – depending on how you look at it. 😉
Gem Pack Vol 2 EXCLUSIVE Cards!
Four (yes, four!) new illustration cards have been designed specifically for this set. Note: these are Simplified Chinese exclusives only – get those orders in!
The cards feature Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon, and Eevee. When placed side by side, they form one beautiful connected image of all of them playing in a forest. We’d argue Leafeon deserves that forest scene the most, followed closely by Sylveon, then Umbreon (maybe at night), and finally the OG – Eevee – first, last, and everywhere in between.

Collector’s Tip: All four cards were designed by “HYOGONOSUKE”. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because he also designed Team Rocket’s Orbeetle AR in the Glory of Team Rocket set and the Leafeon VMAX Alt Art from Evolving Skies. Known for his soft, painterly style and storybook-like layouts, HYOGONOSUKE often creates cards that connect into a single image (like the example below, made up of 9 separate cards!). Another great reason to Collect ’Em All.

Reverse Holos, Stamps, and More!
Eevee and its 8 Eeveelutions (see, told you!) will appear across 15 total variants. These are not just versions of the same card – unlike what we saw in Gem Pack Vol. 1. This time, it’s a total of 15 different cards celebrating all of Eevee’s evolutions. Included are reverse energies, Gem Pack logo-stamped cards, V and VMAX cards, and of course, the four illustrated full arts shown above.

*Tales from the Poké-Vault
- Eevee has held a special place in our hearts since Pokémon Red and Blue (released in 1996 in Japan on the Game Boy). As a Pokémon that could evolve into multiple forms, it quickly became a fan favourite.
- In the games, Eevee is given to the player by Professor Oak in Celadon City as a gift – marking its debut in the series.
- Eevee also appeared in the anime in Episode 36 (“Pokémon Emergency!”), featured alongside Ash and his team.
Love for Eevee is felt by Pokémon fans everywhere…
